New release of PipeCAD - version 0.82 BETA
I am very proud to announce the next release of Topfer PipeCAD, version 0.82.
Based on some great feedback I’ve enhanced the functionality in PipeCAD, as well as added some new features.
PipeCAD is still in BETA, so you should expect to find some bugs lurking about. And currently I still haven’t completed the full printing functionality and report generation. But I think that some of the new features will be of use to many designers. In particular, PipeCAD now understands different types of pipes: Cylindrical Flues, Tapered Pipes (single taper for now, more to come!), and Wooden Pipes. You are able to set such parameters as Mouth Width either by choosing a common value from a list of choices, by directly entering a measurement in mm, or by entering a new fraction. The Taper ratios can be manipulated similarly.
Documentation is still lacking, but I have included an example file that will demonstrate some of the new features. After a successful installation of this version of PipeCAD you will find a file on your desktop named “TopferTestfile 2.tpp”. This file can be Opened within PipeCAD to test the installation and give you a look at new features.
You will note that by selecting one or the other of the two example ranks, the number of columns containing the design parameters by Note changes. The Cylindrical Flue contains columns for Note, Diameter and Mouth Width, while the Tapered Flue contains these columns plus the additional Taper Ratio.
The various design parameters that are entered for each rank are used to drive the output of the Report Generator. In addition to the graph of the scales that can be currently printed, the report for each rank will list the diameters, plate widths, mouth widths, tapers, depth of wooden pipes, etc., as specified in the design. This should enable rapid specification of pipes for your pipebuilder.
Please be sure to uninstall any earlier versions of PipeCAD before proceeding with the installation of this new version. You will find the uninstaller Start->All Programs->Topfer PipeCAD->Uninstall Topfer PipeCAD.

The program is not finished since the page entitled “calculateur javascript” has its form well places from there but it does not function.
On the other hand three pages

have simplified forms which calculate in a table the sizes of the pipes and which can produce a graph in PDF format.
Because I cannot currently have a DSL connection, I cannot test your program (what I regret of course)
